You spend a third of your life in bed, but bedding is the easiest laundry to postpone — duvets don't fit home machines and fitted sheets fight back. A simple rhythm fixes it.

The routine

  • Sheets & pillowcases: weekly, warm water. Two sets in rotation makes this painless.
  • Duvet covers: every two weeks, with the sheets.
  • Duvets & comforters: every season — four times a year.
  • Pillows: twice a year, plus protectors every couple of months.

Bulky items need big machines

A cramped drum can't rinse a king duvet properly, leaving detergent trapped in the filling. Extra-capacity machines — or a service with them — clean right through and dry evenly, so no damp clumps.

Sleep better on it

Dust mites and allergens build up invisibly in bedding. A hot-enough wash with thorough drying resets the whole sleep setup — many customers tell us the first night on freshly serviced bedding is the best sleep they get all season.

Our Bedding & Linen Refresh ($59) covers duvets, sheets, and blankets with hypoallergenic care and vacuum packing for storage.
